John Grefenstette - SuperintendentJohn worked as an intern at Lansdowne for three summers while attending Virginia Tech. After graduating with a B.S. in Turf Management he returned to work for the club as an assistant superintendent. John met his wife Kate in college and they have two daughters named Grace and Emma. When he is not working or spending time with his family he enjoys golfing, playing basketball, hunting, and camping.

Steve Carroll - Shop Manager
Steve came to Lansdowne in 2005 as an assistant superintendent on the Norman course. Before coming to our club he worked for Dan Ryan Builders as an equipment operator. Steve was promoted to Shop Manager in 2006. He has held that title ever since and is responsible for overseeing the equipment maintenance portion of our entire department. Steve is married with three children and he is very involved in his son’s travel baseball team.
